Bomball Press Kit

Game Overview

Bomball is a fast-paced, PVP (Player vs. Player) action 2D top-down shooter game. It offers intense local multiplayer gameplay for up to two players, with one player using the keyboard and mouse and the other using a controller. For the best experience, it's recommended that both players use controllers. Bomball can also be played in single-player mode with an AI opponent.

The game is reminiscent of air hockey, where players shoot a bomb-ball around the arena, aiming to destroy the opponent's car, which serves as the goal. As time progresses, the bomb-ball grows larger, increasing the damage potential. When it becomes too large, it detonates into two smaller balls, heightening the chaos and excitement. Each player’s car is equipped with a cannon that can fire if they collect the appropriate ammo scattered around the arena.

We recommend Xbox or Playstation controllers but any other type of PC controller is also supported.

Based in France. We are a small indie dev team who likes to create fun games for people to enjoy. We have started out as Phoenix Game Studio but we did not earn enough money to keep it going so we turned into 9 to 5 jobs and we keep creating games in our spare time. We started working on Bomball prototype around 2019. The idea was to create a fast and fun game to enjoy with friends. The thought of combining football, shooting action and dynamic physics was the base of the game we call Bomball.
